Michael began his insurance career in 1980. He is licensed in all lines with a focus in property and casualty claims, title insurance, and liability investigations. He is an active member of the International Institute of Loss Adjusters and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.

Eleanor Rabb, CIP

Accident Benefit Specialist, Casualty Claims Adjuster

Eleanor began her insurance career in 1986 as an independent adjuster. She then made a transition to a national insurer to strengthen her skills in accident benefits. She held the position of Casualty Claims Representative for four years, handling files ranging from soft tissue disorders to catastrophic impairments. She has participated in numerous seminars related to her field and has had the privilege of using HCAI prior to its Feb. 1, 2008, launch. Her extensive knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule allows her to communicate entitlement for benefits and processes to English and French clients in a clear and simplified manner. She is comfortable in dispute resolution settings having experience in private and FSCO mediations. Eleanor has successfully completed the courses required for Certified Insurance Professional.

Lise Chapman

Lise began her insurance career in 1979. Lise has the ability to understand any insurance claim scenario and direct it to the appropriate adjuster. Lise completes technical reports for the senior adjusters and maintains a rapport with all of our clients. Her involvement in the day to day operation of Canadian Shield Adjusters is integral.
French is a common first language in northern Ontario. Lise is one of our staff that liaises with those clients, making them comfortable during their claims experience.
